You sure can enjoy this winery any time of year. But, I would have to say that Fall time is the best time. During the Fall you can enjoy ALL that the winery has to offer.
Sit on the patio with a wine tasting and food from the bistro. Then grab a glass of wine and escape the corn maze. Or watch out for their grape stomp weekend, and oil up yourself (so you don’t turn purple) and stomp your way to victory.
Have kids? Don’t worry they have a playground for the kids to play around. This winery is fun for all ages!

“Eat the stupid salad,” as Rachel Hollis would say. Getting your green vegetables in is an important part of a healthy diet. Because, they are packed with vitamins, minerals, and fiber.

Wine Tasting
A tasting is $7-$9 per flight of 5 wines. Or if you have a winery passport you enjoy the tasting for free!
The thing I like about the wine tasting is that they give all the tastings at once so you can go sit down and enjoy your tasting. This way if there is an event going on, like when we where there it was grape stomp day, it freed up the counter to order your wine tastings, a glass to drink, or a bottle of wine. However, you end up missing the one and one with the server explaining things. A lot of times that one on one is how we end up learning more about wine.
Corn Maze
This is the first time my husband and I have tried a corn maze and we had so much fun. I would definitely recommend this for a date day as it seems like it would be easier to do this in pairs rather than a larger group.
Crow River Winery’s maze is sprawled out on 12 acres of land. It costs $8 per adult and $5 per child. The great things is that every year they have a different design so we will for sure be going back next year to try it again.
Unfortunately, we had to cut our maze short because we had planned another outing. So make sure you save at least 2 hours to find all the hidden signs to answer the questions.

This winery is super easy to get to… just right off Highway 7. About 1 hour from Minneapolis.
Based on your blog, we went to Crow River Winery today. We had so much fun. Unfortunately, we did not get to spend as much time there as we would have liked. It would have been fun to go through more of the maze. Next year for sure!.
