I could not think of a better wine to review on Memorial Day than the Thin Blue Vine Itasca wine from Wild Oaks Ranch Vineyard in Lakeville, MN. Not only is this Itasca wine good, but a portion of the proceeds from all wine sold goes to MN Fallen Officer Foundation.
Marquette is Minnesota’s grape with a black fruitiness to it. This Marquette wine from has a plum and cherry fruitness with a nice balance of oak added.
I often have many people ask me what kind of wine to drink when they do not like the drier wines. This Brianna wine is one of those wines I would recommend because of its semi-sweet and crisp profile.
I really enjoyed the complexity of this wine! I felt like it had a earthy flavor but I could not put a finger on it what exactly it tasted like.
The La Crescent grape is known for its tropical flavor profile, sweetness, and acidic nature. It tastes similar to that of a German Riesling.
